The two-day Aikido seminar with Fujimaki Shihan on March 1-2, 2025 marks his third visit to Cebu. 

His first visit to Cebu was on Aug. 21, 1998 as part of a six-month tour in the Philippines. He trained for a week with members of the now-defunct Aikido Dojo of Cebu Inc., at the Rivergate Mall in uptown Cebu City. His tour culminated with a public Aikido demonstration at SM City Cebu. 

His second visit to Cebu was in 2009, when the Hombu Dojo sent him to the Philippines on a goodwill tour. The Sacred Heart Aikido Center Cebu (SHACC) served as host of that visit. 

SHACC will again serve as host of Fujimaki Shihan’s third visit to Cebu on March 2025. The two-day seminar is organized by SHACC and the Visayas Aikido Fellowship (VAF) and coincides with SHACC’s and VAF’s 20th and 10th anniversaries, respectively.

The seminar is also in coordination with the Filipino Federation of Aikido, the Pilipinas Aikido Propagation Association, and Aikido Philippines.

The seminar will be held at the City Sports Club in Cebu City.
